Making a donation to Yoorana Women’s Shelter will help us continue our important work providing crisis accommodation and support to vulnerable women and children escaping domestic violence and homelessness.
Our shelter provides a safe environment that enables women and children to start the healing process and to rebuild their lives free from violence and abuse.
How will the funds be used?
Funds will be used to support women and children to settle into the shelter and then support them into independent accommodation.
Key Areas of Expenditure
- Basic essential items such as: toiletries, food, clothing, baby items (prams, car seats), school uniforms and stationery
- Furniture and whitegoods
- Bonds
- Removalist fees
All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
